Meme: five-question interview

Silly meme gacked from maybethemoon. Leave a comment to my answers to her five questions, and I'll ask you five questions for you to answer on your journal. I'm not sure why this is so appealing, but what the heck.

  1. Why ARE you awake at 12:49am?

    Because I couldn't sleep.

(Okay, I think it's because I had too much salt content with dinner and insufficient water. It seems to make me physically twitchy. And if I drink a bunch of water to counteract the effect, I might as well just stay up for a while, because if I go back to bed, I'll just need to get up soon . . . )

  2. What is the first book you ever read on your own?

The Hobbit. I was a geek even at four.

  3. What city would you not want to live in, for love or money?

Tokyo. Chad spent a few months there doing research and had a good time, but I would hate it. Don't speak the language, gender and ethnic prejudices, don't like soy sauce or sushi, and what the hell would I do?

  4. Is there anyone you would lick voluntarily and not require compensation for it?

    Besides Chad?

Presumably, so okay, yes, there is.

(What, you want to know who? Well, as he's fictional, I guess it's okay: Movie!Aragorn.)

  5. Have you ever to your knowledge willingly had Jersey hair?

No. I have dead straight, never-permed hair; it doesn't do Jersey. I did briefly experiment with dubious curled-back bangs, but I don't think that's sufficient.
