In case people didn't see it over the weekend: you can give $30 of SixApart/LJ's money to charity by e-mailing donorschoose@sixapart.com by 5 p.m. Pacific time today (Monday). No LJ username or anything else required, just an e-mail saying "please give me a gift certificate."
The gift certificate is for DonorsChoose, which raises money to fulfill teachers' requests for equipment and other classroom resources. If you're overwhelmed by the number of projects, Chad is running a science and math focused challenge, and 
telophase is running a manga challenge.
(In comments to the prior post, doire has a suggestion for non-U.S. folks who want to use the gift certificates, which I can't vouch for.)
