I discovered these two userscripts a while ago and keep forgetting to mention them. They both make my playing far more enjoyable.
The first automatically generates outfits that maximize each stat, and then lets you equip those outfits or one saved one of your choosing from the "Story" tab. It also displays the total sellable value of your stuff in various configurations, but it's the wardrobe management that got me to install it, and it saves me so much tedious clicking.
The second displays the prerequisites for storylets in text, saving you from having to mouse over the little icons to see what you don't have or what you're going to be giving up to play a story.
